Welcome to Playhub Day Nursery
We are an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) based nursery using STEAM principles to nurture creativity and problem-solving. Through play, exploration, and hands-on activities, we develop key skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and maths, preparing children for the future.

At Playhub Nursery, we embrace STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities to inspire young minds through hands-on learning and exploration.
We are very excited to welcome your child to Playhub Day Nursery
We offer 15/30 hours free places for eligible children aged 9 months, 2 years old, and 3-4 years olds.
Choose from our flexible AM and PM sessions to fit your schedule.
We offer both full-time and part-time places to suit your child’s needs and your lifestyle.
We are just a 14-minute walk or a 3-minute drive from Abbeywood train station. Also accessible by bus 469 to the nursery.
Our programs are designed to support growth, spark curiosity, and inspire learning at every stage of your child’s development.

Our baby program nurtures infants in a calm, loving environment designed to support early development, sensory exploration, and secure attachment.
( 2 - 3 years)
Toddlers are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow through interactive play and activities that foster independence and curiosity.
( 3 - 5 years)
Our preschool program prepares children for school readiness by focusing on foundational skills, creativity, and social-emotional development in a fun, engaging setting.
( 5 - 11 years)
The after-school program provides a safe, supportive space for children to unwind, complete homework, and participate in enriching activities that promote personal growth.
Babies and toddlers are divided by age and mobility and will always be with children of a similar developmental stage. Our skilled practitioners fully understand the varying needs of children and the changing requirements as children develop between the ages of 3 months and preschool age.

The Baby Room (Acorn) focuses on creating an environment that is “home-from-home” so to provide a gentle transition from home to nursery life.

Elm Room is where the children are encouraged to build the first steps of independence. This is where we prepare our Toddler room children for their next step into Pre-school.

Our Hazel room is designed to promote independence, creativity, and a love of learning in young children. Our teaching approach emphasizes hands-on learning and discovery, with a focus on allowing each child to learn at his or her own pace.
